We would like to inform you of the following so you to understand the facilities, activities, limitations, procedures, and regulations of this property to have a relaxed and comfortable stay for you, other guests, staff, and also for the neighbors.

Published Tariff
Published Tariff on this page is applicable only up to 30th April 2024. Above referred tariff is not applicable for bachelors and those who bring outside food and have it, within the property. Tariff may change without any information. Therefore, You may ask for the Current Tariff, before you book your Cottages, Villas and Rooms.

Maintenance Charge
Those who bring outside food will have to pay Rs250 Per Room Per day, as our maintenance charge. Maintaining of our Staff, Extra cleaning & disposal of plastic containers will be required when you have outside food in our property. Therefore we do charge Rs 250 Per day,Per Room.

Before Your Arrival
Your check-in can be very smooth if you may send copies of valid and original Govt approved photo identity cards with address proof, of all the members of your group, including children, who are going to check in, through WhatsApp or email. Identification proofs accepted are original, Aadhaar Card, Driving License, Voters Card, & Passport. 

Pre – Arrival Call or Messaging makes, it a more effective option, for smooth check-in, so that we can make your rooms/cottages ready, for your check-in.

Order your food before you arrive at the property.

Check In– Check Out
Check-In Time From 1 P.m. & Check-Out Time Before 11 Am.

If You Require, Early Check-In Or Late Check Out
Please contact us, we can offer, as per our availability.

If You Check In Early, Then Check Out Should Be Early. If we have availability, we allow early check-in, then the check-out should be early, that is before 22 hours. If you check out after 22 hours then you will have to pay late checkout charges, you should contact our Manager for confirmation of the late checkout charges in advance.

*Pets: We Don’t Allow Pets, In Our Property.

What’s App Communication Group
We create a WhatsApp Group by including the Guest’s Numbers, Service staff numbers, and our Manager’s numbers. You may use this group for conveying all your requirements and communications, in advance.

Car Parking
Free private parking facility at owner’s risk is possible on site (Reservation is not needed)

*Handling of Your Luggage
You may please handle your luggage as we don’t have anybody for that service, we can provide the trolley if you require. But we will assist old, aged people, Pregnant Ladies, and differently-abled persons, to take care of their luggage.

Guest Registration
Please register your stay with your current and permanent address and contact numbers, as per the direction of our front office staff.

*Visitors Are Not Allowed
This Property is exclusively for those who have booked in advance and registered as per our office record. Therefore, we will never allow Visitors to come to the area allocated to the Guests.

Tariff Plan
The tariff that you have already paid is accommodation or room charges including GST. All other charges such as breakfast, other meals, bottled water, soft drinks, and all other services including any of your services are separately chargeable.

Extra Persons

Extra Person’s Charge
Lakefacing Cottages, Lakefacing Family Cottages, and Lakefacing Villa @ Rs 1064, Family Villa & Non-Lakeside Standard Double Rooms @ Rs 840. The above charge is per person, which includes GST only, If there are more than 2 persons in a Cottage, Villa, or Room.

Child Policy
Up to two children below 5 years, can stay with the Parents without any additional charges. if they don’t require any extra facilities or services. Children above 5 will be treated as an extra person. You should have to produce the age certificate of the children if required by our front office.

Caution Deposit
We may collect a caution deposit from the guests @ Rs 1000 Per Room or for up to 2 persons, by cash, which will be repayable after the Check Out, provided if there aren’t any, losses, damages, or breakages of our assets and there aren’t any personal leftovers, by the Guests.

Healthy, Safe, And Fresh Food
a) We use vegetables from our organic farm.
b) We prepare the food (A To Z) only after the order.
c)We never use Ajinomoto, or any kind of tastemakers, chemicals, color, used oil, etc. for cooking.
d)We make the ingredients/masala for cooking under our supervision, such as chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, coconut oil etc.

Please Don’t Buy Outside Food, Street Vendor or Thattukada Food, as it’s not safe and healthy food. If you still buy the above food, then we will not provide you with any food, as when you buy outside food, we will also become responsible for the outcome of that.

*No Service After 9.30 p.m. in The Night
We will not be able to provide service after 9.30 pm. Therefore, you may order your necessary things in advance, before 9.30 Pm, such as enough water, extra bed, and other items, for your peaceful stay at night.

Collect your items from your car at 9.30 Pm, such as medicines, personal belongings, etc. We close the entrance from the Guest area to the office and parking area during the night from 9.30 Pm to 6 Am, for security reasons.

WIFI
We provide WIFI as a compliment facility to our guests, but it is available from the porch or sit-out of Cottages, Villas, and Rooms. The average expected speed will be around 50 Mbps, but there might be connectivity issues. Therefore, it is always better for you to have alternate arrangements for WIFI, such as Jio /Idea or BSNL4G, Sim/ Connections.

TV Channels
Generally, we have only free channels to offer you. But if you require to add one to three paid channels, you may inform us before 5 Pm at the evening.

Eating In The Room
Please avoid eating snacks, chips, biscuits, food, etc. in the room as it will attract ants and insects to your room.

Quiet Time:
9.30 Pm to 7 Am: The quiet Time of this property is from 9.30 Pm to 7 Am, therefore you are requested to restrict your outside activities & Programs and also the sound, for others to have a peaceful stay during the night at the Property.

Switch Off Lights &  Keep Your Door Closed
You can enjoy the night without the nuisance of insects if you switch off your lights in your Sit out when you are relaxing there, moreover please don’t open your doors and windows, so that mosquitoes and insects will not enter your room.

You May Use Only Your Premises:
You may please occupy only the Premises just in front of your Cottage or Room.

Consumption of Alcohol
We don’t allow the consumption of Alcohol in open and public areas on our Property.

Smoking
Please don’t smoke in the bedrooms, open and public places.

DJ Parties, Drinks Parties, Loud Music, Crackers and Fireworks, and any other activities that create Sound Pollution and air Pollution and disturb other guests, our staff, and the neighbors are not allowed. Our Staff in charge will certainly inform the Police, as soon as they know that, there is any consumption of drugs, or any prohibited items are taking place by the Group or any members of the Group.

Dry Your Clothes
We provide a separate and private place for your clothes to get dried under the Sun.

*Don’t Put Your Clothes on Chairs and other Furniture to get it dried under the sun.

Recreations

Fishing
You may bring a fishing rod and bait if you would like to do angling in the Lake just for fun, but after catching the fish you may release it back to the Lake, as we will not be able to do any service in connection with the above.

Basketball, Shuttle Court & Table Tennis
We provide the above facilities for your fun and entertainment. but after your game, you should bring back all the items that you had taken for your entertainment without damaging them.

Walking For Pleasure
There are around 350 meters of footpath and other areas for you to have pleasure walking.

Organic Farm, Passion Fruit & Other Fruit Trees
You may visit and see the vegetation on the organic farm and the property, through the footpath, and within the boundary for the experience. *But you shall not disturb or spoil the vegetation, or plants, and also not pluck, take, or consume, the fruits from the fruit trees of the property.

*Swimming In The Lake
Only with permission and direction of the Consultant of the Property, provided if you know swimming, that is also At Your Own Risk, after complying with the following. Wear a life jacket or use a life belt before swimming and enter the lake only through the Bathing Ghats. Swim only between 9 Am & before 4 Pm. Don’t swim or enter the lake, from May To November, and also when the Lake is rough, have or expect strong winds, storms, rain, thunder, lightning, etc.

Extending The Stay
If the Guest is extending the stay to another date, then the Guest should come to the office and should settle, if any dues are there. Then make the payment of advance tariff for the entire confirmed days of stay and fill up the new GRC by stating the new check-out time and date. If the Guest is staying indefinitely, then the Guest should pay a minimum 7-day advance tariff at any point in time as a deposit and should clear the tariff and food bill daily.

Save Power & Water
Switch off Power when you don’t use or you are not in the Room:

*Unauthorized Use of Electrical Equipment
We don’t allow anybody to connect any electrical equipment to our power supply line, without the permission of our Consultant.

*Maintenance Charges
Extra Cleaning, Clearing, Losses, Damages & Maintenance Charge: If your activities have caused us to have extra cleaning & clearing to maintain our property as it was before, or any losses or damages, then you will have to pay for the same.

*Take Back Personal Leftovers, Or pay Rs 100 each per room, If the Guest brings food, bottled drinks, and other consumables from outside, then you should take back the waste and your leftovers such as plastic containers, bottles, food waste, etc. from our property.

*Misplacing Or Relocation of Furniture & Furnishings from its original position is not allowed.

*Cancellation, No Show, Late Check-In, or Early Checkout
Confirmed Or Guaranteed Booking Cannot Be, Cancelled, Transferred & Room Cannot Be Allotted To Others.
Request for a refund of tariff or part of the tariff cannot be considered, by considering the above-referred type of request from the guest, under no circumstances. Booking is non-refundable and it cannot be canceled. But we may allow you to modify the stay dates to prepone or postpone up to eleven months, from the date of the booking, as per our policy and availability, if we get an email or WhatsApp message from the Guests, about the cancellation, a minimum 72 hours before the check-in. Then we will go through the request of the Guests and if we find the request is genuine, then we may allow to modify the stay dates to prepone or postpone up to eleven months, from the date of the booking, as per our availability. However, we will not modify the stay dates if we get the cancelation or modify the stay date request, within 72 hours of the check-in, even if the request by the Guest is genuine. 

*Discounted Tariff
The tariff that we offer through this website is competitive and the most discounted tariff to encourage, advance online booking through our website, a minimum of one day before the arrival of the Guests. Over here we offer 20% discounted tariff to guests for those who book in advance, that is, they should book one day, minimum, before their check-in. But for walk-in guests or for guests who come to our property without an advance reservation, then the tariff will not be the same as per this website, But the tariff for them will be published tariff in this website + 20%. Therefore, guests will have the benefit of the discounted tariff, only when they book online through our website, a minimum of one day before the check-in.

*Failures & Service Deficiencies
Failures & Service Deficiencies can happen for various reasons, Power Failures, Generator Failures, Wi-Fi & Mobile Connectivity issues, TV channel issues, and other equipment failures may happen beyond our control. Anyhow, you may please contact us immediately after you experience those, through the WhatsApp Communication Group or inform us directly, so that we may be able to sort out those. We will not be able to refund cash against service failures due to circumstances beyond our control.

*Force Majeure (Forced Circumstances)
We cannot refund the advance payment towards booking, in the event of Forced Circumstances and unforeseeable circumstances, due to flood, fire, war, hartal, strike, disease, epidemic, internal or external issues, etc, that prevent us from providing the accommodation and other facilities at ILLIKKALAM Lakeside Cottages or the Customer is not in a position to avail the facilities of the property, due to above circumstances.
