  ILC resort is located at a beautiful location right in front of the Vembanad lake. The rooms are good with all amenities and staff are very helpful.
They take care of all your needs. They had arranged breakfast and lunch right in front of the lake. This is a budget resort with all the facilities which worth the value of the room rent. We had booked the lake facing family villa.
The food options are limited but have that home cooked food taste. They prepare fresh just before your serving time. Only area of improvement would be to cook the limited food options as per different cuisines style as people from all over visit the resort. We had a good time here, thanks to resort staff and Mr Salim for the arrangements.

  It was a pleasant stay with our family for two days at Illikkalam Lakeside Cottages, Kumarakom. The service by Illikkalam staff was excellent. The food was awesome and our kids enjoyed it. Illikkalam Lakeside Cottages is a good place to stay for peaceful holidays at affordable charges. Only suggestion is that the a kettle could be placed in the room.

  Starting with the great points! The rooms were clean and spacious and the view from our lakeside cottage was amazing! The staff was very polite and friendly. Kids felt safe and happy exploring the surroundings. Food was good and fresh, especially the Karimeen Pollichathu and bread pudding were delicious. Waking up to the sweet bird sounds was such a welcome change from the traffic noise of a city life.

About the not-so-great points, we felt that variety in the food menu was limited. If they would add a couple of kid-friendly dishes, like pasta, pizza and sandwiches, it would be great!
Additionally, a more considerate approach towards allowing guests to settle into their rooms before requesting upfront payment would greatly enhance the overall guest experience. :)

  One of the best and reasonably priced cottage by the lakeside in Kumarkom. If you go there on full moon time you will have an experience of a lifetime. The reflection of moon in the lake and no one around you. Very peaceful place. The owner Saleem Das and  Jameel ( support staff ) are gem of person. Thanks you guys. Even though we were super tired due to long drive and summer you guys made it very easy for us to relax. 🙏🏻

*Basic facilities for Swimming, in the lake, from the Bathing Ghat, if you know how to swim, wearing a Life Jacket, that also, at Your Own Risk.

Cruising in Shikara Houseboat & Speed Boat
*Shikara Boat, Morning or Sunset cruising for 2 hours. Cruise in a Houseboat from a minimum of 2 hours to 8 hours with a welcome drink, lunch & evening Snacks. Speed Boat for a minimum of 1 Hour to see Lake Vembanad.

Parking Facility: A free and private, safe parking facility is available at this Property, Reservation is not required.

Medical Help & Assistance: We arrange, if there is a requirement for medical help to any of our guests, during their stay with us.

Please Note:

*Check-In & Check-Out: Check-in time starts from 1 pm in the afternoon and Check-Out time is before 11 Am in the morning, on the next/last day. Maximum hours of stay for one day will be up to 22 hours only. If You Check In Early, Then Your Check Out Should Be Early, that is before 22 hours.

*It’s Not a Luxury Property, but a nature-friendly property, and its rooms, cottages, villas, and the Property itself have the facilities to suit the reasonable requirements of the Guests.

*Tariff, GST & Other Charges, Tariff includes GST only, therefore, bottled water, breakfast, and all other services are separately chargeable, as per the Menu Card.

*Extra Person will be charged @ Rs 1064, for Lake facing Villa, Lake facing Cottages & Lake facing Family Cottages. Rs 840 for the family Villa and Rs 560 for the Standard rooms. The above charge will be for per person and includes Tariff and GST only.

*The policy of the Property is not to allow visitors as it will certainly spoil the peace and relaxation of other Guests who are staying in the property.

*No service after 9.30 pm in the night, We will not be able to provide service after 9.30 pm at night. Therefore, you may order your necessary things in advance, before 9.30 Pm, such as enough water, extra bed, and other items, for your peaceful stay at night.

*Consumption of Alcohol: We don’t allow the consumption of Alcohol in open and public areas on our Property.

*Smoking: Please don’t smoke in the bedrooms, open and public places.
